Same Blog, New Domain

Moved my blog from abf.li to afranca.com.br - a step reflecting growth, identity, and Brazil roots. Old links work; updates soon.

It's been a while since I've shared some behind-the-scenes updates here, and today I have an important one. After much thought and preparation, I've decided to move this website from abf.li to a new home at afranca.com.br

This wasn't a decision I made lightly. The old domain is shorter, super nice, and has been with me since back when everything here was smaller and simpler. Over time, though, things evolved. The audience grew, the content deepened, and the purpose of this space became clearer. I wanted a domain that better represented that growth and carried a bit more of my own identity, especially since most of what I do and write about is rooted in Brazil. Moving to afranca.com.br feels like a natural next step in that evolution.

If you've been visiting for a while, don't worry because nothing about the content or the spirit of the site is changing. All the old links will continue to work, and I've set up redirects from the old domain to the new one. Those redirects will stay in place for about 90 days, giving everyone plenty of time to update bookmarks, RSS feeds, or any saved pages you might have.

I know changes like this can sometimes be annoying, but I wanted to make the transition as smooth as possible. After those 90 days, the redirects from abf.li will be turned off, so please make sure to start using afranca.com.br going forward.

If you notice anything broken, weird, or missing during the transition, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your feedback has always helped me improve things around here.

Thank you for sticking around through all the changes. It means a lot.
